Economic Development
Economic Development equips children, youth and an adult to live financially responsible lives by providing training's and counseling sessions, which promote dialogue about financial responsibility. The Economic Development departments also offer innovative financial solutions through strategic alliances with their local, state and federal business and organizations. Thanks to The Urban Affairs Coalition, Action Harvest, Inc. hosted three foreclosure prevention workshops and two finance workshops during the first and second quarter or 2010.
In the last year, Action Harvest has hosted workshops on the following topics: Foreclosure Prevention, Financial Education, Debt Management and Understanding How Banks Work. Our goal is to continually host free workshops and trainings to residents and friends of Hunting Park, Philadelphia.
