Action Harvest, Inc. Executive Team is made up of 3 individuals with diverse backgrounds. We bring to the table years of experience in the corporate, faith-based nonprofit and social service sectors.
Vincent Stevens, Chairman of the Board, has worked in the faith-based nonprofit sector for over 20 years. He created a small community- based afterschool program in the mid-80s that tripled in size in less than one year. The program quickly caught the attention of area judges, the Philadelphia School District, area principals, teachers and politicians. Officials began referring at-risk youth throughout Philadelphia to his program, located in the heart of North Philadelphia. It was then that Vincent realized that he had a gift to transform people of all ages with a simple message of hope and love.
Tiffany W. Thurman, Executive Director, has an economic and financial services background. She holds an investment license with FINRA and plans to use her financial expertise to effectively lead the organization. She graduated with honors from Temple University with a degree in Economics and a degree in Political Science. Tiffany, a social justice advocate, says her legacy will forever be linked to her work with the residents of Hunting Park, Philadelphia.
Ama D. Guzman, Associate Director, is a social worker with 10 years of experience. She has worked with various nonprofit organizations in New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. Her education and work experience does not compare to what she has learned through her interactions with urban youth in New York City and Philadelphia. Her work with the youth of NYC early on in life sparked a passion to serve the needs of everyday people.
